Empowered by Progress: CPDM Mezam III Section Bali Kicks Off 2025 Campaign, Highlighting Biya's Impact!

On September 28, 2025, the CPDM Mezam III Section Bali gathered at the Bali municipal Grand Stand to officially launch the 2025 presidential campaign for President Paul Biya. The event was led by Campaign President Dr. Wambang Nyamalum Alfred, alongside prominent party members including Prof. Chi Asafor from the Central Committee, Wandum Ernest Bunga, the Section President for Bali, and WCPDM Section President Fopina. They urged supporters to rally behind Biya, emphasizing his embodiment of peace, unity, and development.

A Vision for Bali’s Future

The campaign team highlighted President Biya's commitment to the people of Bali, articulating a vision that aims to ensure every child in the region has access to education. “He wants the children of the poor to rise above poverty and achieve dreams their parents only imagined,” said Dr. Wambang.

Dr. Wambang also highlighted the significant contributions made by President Biya to the Bali community, stating, “Biya has done great things for this Nation and in Bali.” 

"In Biya's Government, we were granted a Special Status. In Biya's Government, we were granted the Regional Assembly. In Biya's Government came the implementation of decentralization. Still in Biya's Government, came the House of Chiefs. In Biya's Government, we had the PIC that is doing a great job. In Biya's Government came the construction and renovation of Bali hospitals and certain health centers with its equipment's harbor high-level medical experts.

Not only that, Biya upgraded the status of the hospital to an integrated district hospital, that accommodates diverse facilities. Biya's government also built a mortuary house, that has greatly reduced the cost and pains of bereaved families from Batibo, Bali to Bamenda to embalm the dead. Biya still went further to build the New Divisional Officer of Bali office. Biya still constructed the judiciary office in Bali. The Bamenda-ENUGU highway, Biya still chose to pass through Bali, which it could be thwarted through another subdivision, and now thousands of Bali People conve y through that road for international business.

Biya's government has interest in the future of the youths; as such, he has greatly paid much attention to the educational sector, where he has built school infrastructures, renovated those that needed to be renovated. This same Biya we celebrate as a Peace Crusader today was the pillar of conflict resolution between Bali and neighboring villages. Most especially, Biya has admonished the Nation and Bali in particular into agriculture and has greatly supported the farmers with tools and equipment to boost agricultural mechanization. Currently, Biya is ongoing supporting farmers with inputs and machines through the PLUCCA PROJECT (emergency project to combat food crisis in Cameroon)."

he emphasized that these developments are vital for the future of the youth in Bali.

 

Dr. Chi Asafor, representing the Central Committee, emphasized the extensive development projects initiated by the Biya government. “Can you turn your back on a person who has given you so many development projects?” he asked, stressing the connection between Biya’s governance and Bali’s progress. He asserted, “If there is a government that has taken care of a village like Bali, it is the Biya government.”

 

Wandum Ernest Bunga's Vision for Victory

Wandum Ernest Bunga, the Section President and Mayor of Bali, shared strategies to secure victory for President Biya. He stated, “Our strategy is simple: do you want to vote for someone uncertain, or do you want to vote for someone who has already delivered?” He noted that the population of Bali is committed to supporting Biya, citing developmental projects and the appointment of local leaders as reasons for their loyalty.

Mayor Wandum Ernest reminds the people of Bali, “After listening to our call, the President decided to stand again to lead us toward the peace we desire. We are all gathered here as militants of Mezam III to pledge our unanimous support for the candidacy of our Grand National Party, which we will demonstrate on October 12, 2025. A Bali man has no reason to deviate from Paul Biya.”

Wandum Ernest also encouraged voters to collect their voter cards ahead of the elections, ensuring that everyone would be prepared to participate. “We have invited ELECAM to distribute cards today, and we are making every effort to ensure that all eligible voters can cast their ballots,” he explained.

Youth Engagement and Commitment

The YCPDM section president for Bali, Billa Vitalis Fokwang, voiced the commitment of the youth to support President Biya. “We, the youths of Bali, have pledged our 100% vote for His Excellency Paul Biya on October 12, 2025,” he declared. Fokwang shared his personal experiences of being appointed multiple times in the government as a testament to Biya’s commitment to youth empowerment.

Farming equipment and farm inputs have also been distributed to farmers in the area to boost productivity and their source of livelihoods.

Campaign President Dr. Wambang Alfred reminded attendees of the importance of their votes. “We are not just voting for a man; we are voting for peace, stability, unity, and development. Our future is in our hands,” he said.

He called on everyone to mobilize their families and communities, urging them to carry the message: “On October 12, Bali votes Paul Biya!” The sentiment echoed throughout the crowd, reinforcing the notion that when Bali stands with Biya, Biya stands with Bali.

With a shared vision and a commitment to progress, the CPDM Mezam III Section Bali is poised for a vigorous campaign leading up to the presidential elections, rallying around a leader who they believe will continue to propel their community forward.
