Momo Division: Minister Mbah Acha Rose Confident After CPDM Stock-Taking Conclave
Under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency Justice Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam, Head of the CPDM Central Committee Permanent Divisional Delegation for Momo, a grand stock-taking meeting was held on Friday August 29th 2025 to review the activities of all five sections of the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement (CPDM) in the division. The event aimed to strategize for an exceptional victory in the upcoming presidential elections scheduled for October 2025, supporting candidate Paul Biya.
A Strong Commitment to Victory
During the well-attended event, Justice Mbah Acha expressed her satisfaction with the turnout and commended the dedication of party militants. She highlighted that the CPDM currently holds all elective positions within the division, from parliamentary to council and senatorial seats. Emphasizing the importance of visibility and pride in the party, she called upon mayors and councillors to demonstrate discipline and teamwork as they gear up for the presidential elections on October 12. "This is our time to shine. As we say, it's forward ever and backward never! We have claimed the councils, the National Assembly, the senatorial seats, and the mayoral positions. What more could we ask for? It has never happened like this before, but now it has, and it will continue!" she proclaimed.
Welcoming New Members
A significant highlight of the meeting was the welcoming of five prominent former militants of the SDF, who resigned to join the CPDM. Justice Mbah Acha extended a warm welcome, presenting them with party fabrics and emphasizing the wisdom of their decision to join the winning team that prioritizes development. "We are thrilled to welcome our brothers to the CPDM. This is the party of progress, and we guarantee you will never regret this decision. If anyone here feels ashamed of the CPDM, then something is wrong. For years, we have dominated all councils, parliamentary, mayoral, and senatorial seats in Momo Division. Why not wear your party uniform with pride?" she stated.
Voices of Change
Among those who crossed over was Ekanya Francis, the former SDF District Chairman for Njikwa. He shared his motivation for joining the CPDM, citing frustration within the SDF and a desire for peace and development. "I was driven to resign from the SDF due to the lack of genuine coordination and leadership. The CPDM's manifesto resonates with my values, and I believe in its commitment to peace and development," he said.
Development Initiatives in Njikwa
Akebe Emmanuel, Mayor of Njikwa Council, spoke about the ongoing development efforts in the municipality. He noted that Njikwa is poised for a positive campaign ahead of the presidential elections, attracting former members of rival parties due to their successful initiatives. "We are pragmatic leaders who prioritize solving the problems of our people. We have secured over three billion in projects for road development, and a three-phase electricity project is underway. The people of Njikwa are regaining confidence in the CPDM, realizing that we are the party of hope and progress," he asserted.
Call to Action
Justice Mbah Acha also commended the impressive voter registration statistics and urged those registered to collect their voter cards before the elections. "I am proud to see our CPDM militants in Momo Division working hard. Our achievements over the last five years surpass those of other parties in the past 22 years. We must ensure that every registered voter collects their card; otherwise, their registration is in vain," she concluded. This meeting marked a pivotal moment for the CPDM in Momo Division, reinforcing their commitment to unity, development, and an undeniable victory in the upcoming elections.
